Tourism Marketing in Rome - Multi-lingual Web Design & Marketing Rome
ANALYSIS & PLANNING
Italy is interesting in that it is a little behind in terms of social media and just plain web standards. However, an obvious point was that Rome visitors are in majority not from Italy, giving us the huge playing field of social interaction, search marketing and branding exposure. What was needed was online marketing for Rome itself. So we needed to wipe the slate clean and first put in the basics:
- New Brand for the company
- New Website
- Blogging platform
- Social Network profiles
WEBSITE & BLOG
Limo Tours Rome needed a website which clearly delineated their services, could be easily found and was well optimised. The site was gotten online and launched rapidly to allow for the search enginesIn addition to this we found that there were about 30 primary Rome tours which were searched for internationally. To easily compartment each and to get ease of search for viewers, we setup an internal site blog as a "Tour Descriptions", rich with imagery and useful information.
LOVE ROME? SHARE IT!
Next, to gain further credibility, we setup and managed additional external blog, I Love Rome, which gives information on Rome - pretty much anything you would want to know about the city.
The Blog / Guide gave Limo Tours some weight and with featured promotions across iloverome.net, Limo Tours Was soon becoming the most sought after high-class tour service in Rome.
GOING SOCIAL
Fueled by Facebook & Twitter chat, Likes and Sharing, inclusion in tourism iPhone apps and mobile service searches - Limo Tours Rome and IloveRome.net rapidly climbed the ranks of the search engines and gained further recognition.
